I suppose that might have been it but you'd wonder if maybe he shouldn't have been back if that's all it took.

Given that he just returned from a concussion, it looked liked his head jerked back when they collided. It likely was enough to reignite the injury. I know from experience that after having a concussion you’re more sensitive to sudden head movements for awhile.

Maybe Rosen can teach Benson how to score a goal?

Sabres team save percentage is currently .908 and it's the 8th best in the NHL right now. Not sure what's going on, but goaltending league wide is brutal this year. Only 14 teams are above .900 and 10 are below .890 with the Blues at an unfathomable .840 Maybe they should trade for Levi...his .872 last year would look great over there. In comparison, last year the Sabres were 30th at .888

The PK has been a revelation

Buffalo sports fans can empathize with our Canadian bros & Jays fans right now. It was right there for the taking! I revel in the failure of the Leafs and their fans suffering, but I was with them in this World Series. Rochester’s Ernie Clement did everything he could. The storybook ending wasn’t with them tonight. It sucks, but we know how it feels. What a wild ride.

I want to complain and be disappointed as much as the next guy but as a general fan of the team, I’m going to look at one regulation loss in their last nine games and feel a touch of optimism with the trend.
