  1. Past hour
  2. If he does, I’ll buy his jersey
  3. What’s the recovery process like for something like that? It’s not like you hit this magic point where you can eat something and immediately down 15 burgers.
  4. They don’t know how to sync lights here in NC and it has created a serious problem with red light runners. There are times where I think I’m going too late on a yellow and I’ll look back in my mirror and see 2 more cars follow me. It’s a horrible combination of not syncing lights and intersections where the light goes green for around 10 seconds. They’ve created a monster out here. I had one drive home a couple months ago where I hit 19 consecutive red lights, ever single intersection on the same road. It was so comically bad that I was actually rooting for a red each time I approached the next one. I wish they never changed that ad campaign away from “real American heroes”. It fits the song so much better.
  5. I knew that. But thought I’d ask the question, anyway. 😄
  6. Indeed. Lindy was complimenting them as a shut down line.
  7. Because I disagree with the bolded parts.
  8. Or, even if he can hold stuff down, it's possible that his intestines aren't working properly and everything is flushing right through with little getting absorbed. We simply don't know. (And per reports, his medical team doesn't know what virus specifically is causing his issues, either.)
  9. Opinions…bad spellcheck
  10. Not sure why you downvoted my post but the law is called claiming the intersection. I didn’t make the law I just know what it is
  11. Watch him have a 5 point night 😛 So you're suggesting Helenius play 2C???
  12. I appreciate where you’re coming from here with regard to the Eichel trade, but I need to see how Östlund turns out before I can truly judge it. That said, only one team received a potential HOFer in the trade as it stands currently.
  13. "Today we salute you, Mr. Block All Traffic To Make A Left Turn!" I learned about that in Buffalo, tbh.
  14. People are morons now. Here in Texas, hardly anyone goes to driving school now; the cheapest/easiest way to get a license is to do the "parent led" training and in most cases it's just mom or dad signing off saying they did all the training but they don't actually do the training. So there's a whole cohort of drivers that don't know anything about driving.
  15. Kosak is the better 4C and Krebs is made to be a 4th line winger playing next to him. Kozak, Krebs, and Malenstyn were wreaking havoc as the 4th line before all the injuries derailed that plan. The sooner they get back together, the better.
  16. My ex was from Boston. It’s a different world there.
  17. Thanks for finally providing some solid comments, rather than the dismissive responses I expect more detailed discussion from someone that answers with such confidence. I get the slot receiver thought on McConkey at the time of the draft. McConkey projected as a slot receiver but he also plays outside and he did so very successfully at Georgia. SD plays him at both, they want him on the field because he is making plays for them. I would not expect me or you to know these details at draft time, but I do expect Beane to know this. The year prior to drafting Coleman, Beane used a #1 pick on a TE, and this was right after he paid Knox a big contract worthy of a #1 TE. But he can't have two guys that can play slot? I understand the thought on TEs formation. As for Samuel and Palmer - so far both are looking like budget bin performers that cost us way too much money - about $20M/year combined on the cap. Both can go deep, maybe not much of a threat, but if all you are doing is clearing space for Kincaid and Shakir underneath they are fast enough to go deep. That seems to sum up the Bills passing offense. The targets go to Kincaid, Shakir and a few desperation throws to Coleman who is usually well covered. I think the biggest problem with the Bills offense right now is the output from the WRs. Is it the WR talent, the QB, the OL, coaching/execution, or the play calling? Bottom line is they have not been able to come close to replacing Diggs using either free agency, trades, or the draft and it really shows. Maybe Coleman will bloom and make me wrong about him someday, but for what we need to win now he was a risky choice.
  18. It's how I was taught. By the way, did you know you can make a left on red if both streets are one-way? My wife didn't believe me. The light at the intersection of my development and the main drag, You don't dare go on green until the clowns running the red go through first.
  19. You aren't missing anything.
  20. We don't know what they are giving him. But he might not be able to hold anything down right now.
  21. I was taught the same way but too many folks accelerating through “stale” red lights it’s borderline suicidal. I only do it now if incoming traffic is 200-300 yards away. I expect everyone to run the light it has become so common now.
  22. I have no idea what this means.
  23. Today
  24. why are they not giving him things like the bodybuilders used to gain weight like pineapple juice mixed with heavy cream? Or something similar in terms of weight gainer shakes? This seems like it should be easily preventable...just because you are on liquids, doesn't mean that they have to be devoid of caloric content these days. IMO, this is a terrible job by the nutrition team.
  25. I've always pulled up under the light and turned on yellow once I ensure the other cars are actually planning on stopping, which has saved me from more than a few accidents when they didn't. Big pet peeve of mine is the left turn arrows that turn red and they expect you to sit there and wait while there is literally not a car in sight coming the other direction. This happens regularly at the entrance to the 90 off Transit road. I check for police and then just turn. No time to be waiting for minutes for no reason. Dumbest thing of all time...should always be a blinking yellow in thos situations.
  26. Felt like kozak was a more impactful defender in that his hits seemed to land more. Couple nice goals as well. I feel like Krebs has been tried all over, and it wasn't good - so i guess try something else because they're incredibly thin at center. This team's almost running 2 4th lines - someone from the defense is going to have to score at this rate.
  27. This thread has become the predictable and stupid morass I thought it would. When he comes back, I'm gonna do more victory laps than when this place tried to convince me that Geersten wasn't useless.
