Good grief you are going to make yourself sick with all the negativity. I’m talking about yesterday’s game, not 10 or 13 years ago. Get a grip, breathe, relax. They were clearly outmanned. Being in your prime has nothing to do with it. Look at the talent difference between the team. McKinnon and Maker are two of the best players in the league. The Sabres are bottom feeders that played with a bunch of AHL players.

Eh, go take care of your girl. If priorities job (aka pay) takes precedent as he needs to ensure he’s got the $$$ for optimal care, join the team and get your bread. Otherwise, make sure your better half is good. Then worry about hockey.

I agree with you. I know we all want a downtown arena, but I agree with the above comments. The only issue is, the Sabres players fly in and out a lot more than the Bills players do, and access to the airport would be more important for not only the players, but the coaches, equipment, etc. Someplace in the Northtowns would make more sense for that reason.

I’d prefer they actually do something. At this point I don’t care what just make a change for sake.

Guys on NHL XM said the GMs were meeting this week. I assume in conjunction with HOF doings

Why? It's Sabres pace not Buffalo Sabres space ?? So Atlanta Sabres , really nothing changes I prefer they go to KC and come back as the scouts. Maybe the best uniform the NHL has ever had ? Of course , this board would have to be amended ?

Why does it have to stay downtown? What is the reasoning? when other players are taking photos from their hotel rooms of crumbling 100+ year old grain silos and boarded up 100+ year old factory sites, I find Orchard Parks location a no brainer.

I've read them. I just don't see what you're seeing. Obviously Seattle has a nicer arena, it's new. Sure there's some nicer weight rooms. I guess I just don't see some "omg! That team is just the bees knees cuz that facility or chef" I'm sure the Sabres can do more, but the origin of this was the Sabres have subpar facilities, not "well the Sabres don't have the top 3 facilities in the league"

This is not true unless it’s the most unreported GM meeting ever. Their meetings are usually held after the trade deadline

You say that now. I wonder how you'll feel when the moving vans come for the Atlanta Sabres? Absolutely not! Any new arena has to stay downtown. Which is moot because a refurb of the present arena is far more likely.
