Thankfully, that didn’t age well. Isn’t @PASabreFan keeping some stat about the day after a Bills win Sabres game W%?… or something?
-
Better luck next time.

Paul Hamilton stated postgame last week that Thompson likes playing with Greenway. There are positives and negatives but it is a big line and will be hard to push around. Who is coming in for Östlund. -
Sorry they won. That win pretty much cements a wild card berth, assuming we don't throw up on ourselves again the Jets. 10 wins should do it. But the division is New England's.
-
It was so exciting...But you are correct.
-
Yes, this should be reserved for the Folignos. (you know if we'd kept Marcus, and added Nick in free agency, we'd have had the veteran leadership we desperately needed along with a hometown thing and then maybe it would all be different and then Kane might have entertained the hometown idea for real. But Terry knows better.)

I’m super happy the Bills came back and won that game. But excuse me for a moment because I’m going to be THAT guy. What the hell was that play call after the Bengals used their last time out? Why would you even chance throwing the ball. Thankfully Josh didn’t fumble. Then he did that thing with his legs to seal the victory on the very next play.

Chiefs are 6-6 with Mahomes this year and Burrows lost the matchup today.
-
Woulda liked to see some pressure on Burrows earlier. but they finally did

Looking at the analytics, Since Greenway has been here, he and Tage have played together almost 270 minutes. When they are together, the Sabres score a goal once every 15 minute of ice time. That number is not that bad, its pretty good actually. Maybe Lindy is so frustrated that he is down to making his lines based on a spreadsheet? I'll give it one game to see if it works....not that I have any input and could over-ride the decision anyway. I'm feeling that real world common sense will win out over past analytics and show this is a bad move..but who knows at this point. -

It's Adams not Ruff. -
Here we go, just need Cook to not fumble and this team would have destroyed them. Defense kept Burrow under 300 yards (284), 2 INTs, and kept them to 62 yards rushing.

Greenway is a below average player who really is only useful penalty killing, he's injury prone and not reliable. But they signed him to an extension for this year and next year a $4m per year, so they are forcing him in there to justify that deal. There was little chance he was going to play more than 60 games in a season. Per game, you are paying him like a 2nd line player when he doesn't even produce like a good 4th liner. -

This isn’t the first time Jordan has found himself on the 1st line this season. This is the result of a GM without the mental acuity to do anything other than what the players contracts will allow (aka keeping Östlund up based on performance) and a coach who has no creativity. -

I think Dahlin will ask for a trade too. Given his personal life this year he might really want a new start in a new place as well. All depends on how his wife is and how tied (or not tied) she is to the community. I know the feeling because many years ago my wife almost died in childbirth and after she didn't, she kind of felt like it's a "new bonus life" and she wanted to throw caution to the wind for several years and that's when we took the kids and moved across country to the west coast. It's a real rebirth moment when you go through something near death and serious and if she has it, he might want it too. -

Zucker and Benson should be switched imo but Greenway in that top spot relates directly to what I said earlier in a thread. They are one top veteran forward away from a decent line up but they don't go and get that forward, they just plug in Greenway instead and thus we stay where we are. -
Nope, Josh
-
Oh definitely. I am quite sure in Adams mind he's thinking "I don't need anybody here. I have Helenius, Kulich back, Östlund and Rosen so more than enough forwards and Mrtka will play D, Levi will fix goaltending and then we will surge. Don't need a thing. " Some people will believe that is true too.

Tuch will be a deadline move, Tage around the draft and I do not blame either of them -

What an amazing half of football. Defense came in clutch, Allen came in clutch. Statement second half.
-
My heart rate is 177. JA waving the ball in the air in a crowded backfield. Are we better than the Dolphins? Burrow..Mahomes..
-
I mean no player is more valuable to their team than Allen is to the Bills.

But they're going to be hard to play against because they're so tall. 😇
