Everyone should remember that the Flames were a consensus bottom-5 finisher in preseason predictions. They are currently bottom 3 in the league, right on course. They're skating circles around the Sabres, whose GM has had 6 seasons and tons of capital (and Eichel/Reinhart/etc.) as assets to rebuild his new core. Flame... blouses.
