Sabres ink Curtis Lazar to a one-year deal

'In parts of three seasons with the Flames, Lazar never gained his footing as he scored just three goals and 15 points in 70 games. This past year, Lazar played in just one game in the NHL with the rest of the time being spent with the Stockton Heat in the American Hockey League.
