It's hard for Sabres fans to score at ATMs

'Sabres Public Relations Director Michael Gilbert said the team is aware of the problems and is in the process of correcting them. "We have several ATMs," Gilbert said. And as of Friday afternoon, as far as he knew, two were down. Gilbert said the problem was mechanical, and they were waiting for parts to come in. He wasn't sure how long that would take. … [Read more...] about It's hard for Sabres fans to score at ATMs

No suspension expected for Ovechkin

'Sources tell TSN that Ovechkin may be fined for his actions, which earned him a five-minute major and a game misconduct in Washington's 7-4 victory over Buffalo. He was tossed late in the second period, just after scoring his 17th goal of the season. Buffalo's Paul Gaustad pummelled Ovechkin, who didn't throw a punch in retaliation.' … [Read more...] about No suspension expected for Ovechkin

B. Thomas Golisano

'You visit the locker room after each game? TG: I have a tradition. If the team wins, I go down to the locker room to congratulate them. If they don't win, I don't do it. The only time I broke that rule is the final Carolina game. They showed so much heart that I could not be with them, even though they lost. I'm so proud of them.' … [Read more...] about B. Caps Take Care Of Sabres 7-4

'The second period would be an eventful one, as an Alexander Ovechkin check from behind on an unaware Daniel Briere would cause multiple scrums after the play. Game # 26: Capitals 7, Sabres 4

'Handing out turnovers like campaign flyers, the Sabres' weakest performance of the current season amounted to a blank ballot in the nation's capitol. Adding to the ugliness was a controversial hit by Washington star Alexander Ovechkin on Buffalo's Daniel Briere, sparking a fracas that led to three player ejections and a less-than-memorable game that took nearly three hours to … [Read more...] about Game # 26: Capitals 7, Sabres 4
