‘“My first year at Michigan State, I really took my game to the next level and that’s what kind of got me to be drafted here,” said Geary, who attended St. Francis High School and played for the Buffalo Junior Sabres. “My first year at Michigan State kind of shaped me into who I was, and then when I got (to development camp), and got around all the pro guys, you see how detailed everything is with them, and learning from all the staff here and everything around here is so topnotch, so professional. That’s what you learn from these camps, is how to use everything and be more of a pro, on and off the ice.”’
