‘For me the biggest part of this is the Sabres are going into the sixth year of the Kevyn Adams rebuild, and they’re still in the position to have a promising 23-year-old winger that wants to leave Buffalo. If Adams had a team that was getting better instead of regressing, this stuff of players wanting out would not be happening anymore. Adams’ hand was forced, and when that happens, he’s at a disadvantage. Terry Pegula should’ve been asking himself why do players still want to leave, and he obviously didn’t do that.’
