Konsta Helenius leaving Finland to join Sabres or Rochester Americans

Source: Buffalo News

‘Helenius’ team in Finland, Tappara, announced the decision on its social media accounts. The move was expected once the Sabres used the 14th pick of the draft on Helenius in Las Vegas. General manager Kevyn Adams told reporters that he and his staff were eager to get Helenius to the United States sooner than later. His talent tantalized at Sabres development camp the following week, as the 5-foot-11 forward made several exceptional plays that wowed.’
