‘Weekes is very familiar with the fans of Buffalo being a visiting goaltender many times here. Skinner said he’s really enjoying getting to know the fans here, “As an opposing player you only get a little of a snapshot of the city, of the community and the organization I think for me coming over it impressed me I think and I didn’t really realize how much the community loves the team and loves the sports teams there and how much they mean to them and vice-versa. As a player I think it’s cool to be a part of that and it’s something we take a lot of pride in.”’
