‘“When you can score goals and get life in this building, that’s tough to play against,” O’Reilly said. “That’s what we want. We want to create, get goals and keep feeding off them like we did there. It’s definitely a positive thing.”’

Kyle Okposo ready for his L.A. closeup as an NHL All-Star
‘“It’s awesome,” said linemate Ryan O’Reilly who was the Sabres representative at last year’s All-Star Game. “Look what he’s done all year. He’s been our most consistent player, night-in, night-out. The way he’s been creating and making things happen, it’s nice to see him get rewarded. It’s definitely well deserved.”’
Sabres waive goal-less Grant

Mike Harrington: At century mark, Eichel finding his game
‘”It’s all about your preparation being consistent,” he said. “If you want to become a top player in the league, you have to be ready every night. Sabres’ Kyle Okposo thrilled with NHL All-Star selection
‘“It feels like it’s a bit of a reward for my play,” Okposo said. “This year is probably not the best statistical year that I’ve had. … Coming here and everything being new, the guys make it easy. But at times, it’s difficult. I’m just trying to get used to everything. Still trying to get cemented in the lineup somewhere. So it definitely feels good.”’
Sabres’ Kyle Okposo named NHL All-Star
‘Okposo will represent the Atlantic Division team in the game, as he leads the Sabres with 12 goals and 27 points. Okposo signed a seven-year contract, $42 million contract with Buffalo this past offseason.’
