Sabres win their first game of the season

'The Sabres certainly got the power play right. They went 3 for 7, including the first two goals of the game, to make the winless Blue Jackets pay for their hockey sins. It was the first time Buffalo scored three power-play goals in a game since the season opener in 2012-13, a span of 214 outings.' … [Read more...] about Sabres win their first game of the season

Jack Eichel’s nifty goal helps Sabres beat Blue Jackets

'“You will see that goal again,” Bylsma said Monday following the Sabres’ 4-2 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets. “We’ll see it replayed again, just all of it – the track back, the stealing of the puck and winning the battle and creating space and then the shot from an improbable angle right at the corner of the net.”' … [Read more...] about Jack Eichel’s nifty goal helps Sabres beat Blue Jackets

Eichel's goal helps Sabres beat Blue Jackets

'The game-winner was a tremendous one-man effort by Eichel, the second overall pick.
