‘Myers play improved quite a bit after Nolan showed up. He was allowed to carry the puck again which he wasn’t allowed to do under Ron Rolston. Rolston wanted him to support the rush, not lead it. Myers likes the fact the Nolan puts trust in him, “The confidence level I ended off with last year, I think that’s exactly where I want to take it here at the start of camp. Ted showed a lot of confidence in me when he came in and seeing that and knowing that, it just helped me along. For me it’s focusing on keep building, don’t get too comfortable with where I am and just focus on getting better.”’
