‘Buffalo Sabres general manager Darcy Regier today announced the team has assigned the following players to the Rochester Americans (AHL): Matt Hackett, Brayden McNabb, Chad Ruhwedel and Mike Zigomanis. Drew Bagnall and Matt Ellis will also be assigned to Rochester, pending waivers.’
