Foligno Propels Sabres Past Blue Jackets 3-1

Source: WGR-AM

‘The first of Foligno’s two goals came late in the opening period. The Sabres forward redirected a Tyler Myers pass into the Columbus net with just five seconds remaining in the first. Following a tying goal by R.J. Umberger in the second period, Foligno put Buffalo back in front with his second of the evening. Mikhail Grigorenko added his first of the preseason at 9:23 of the final period to make it 3-1. Corey Tropp found a wide-open Grigorenko, who beat Blue Jackets netminder Mike McKenna.’
