When I first got called up I was sound defensively, got pucks in the zone, forechecked and backchecked as hard as I could and then as the games went on and you earn the coach’s trust, you get more of a leash to do more of the offensive things that you know you can do, but you don’t want to bring it out too soon and turn pucks over.”’
