‘Persson, the Sabres first-round pick in the 2006 draft, has spent the past two seasons in the minors. He has five goals and 21 assists for 26 points in 132 career games in the American Hockey League. Persson was called up to Buffalo three times last season, but did not play a game for the Sabres.’

Sabres re-sign Persson and Turnbull
