‘If someone had told the Sabres they would keep Crosby relatively quiet with just one assist, dominate possession time for 40 minutes and have nearly double the Penguins’ shot total for most of the game, they’d feel pretty good about their chances. But when a team also turns the puck over at inopportune spots, can’t hit the net when it gets a chance and wilts in the late going, there’s no reason to feel good.’
