‘He’s had a bit of a head start on how to be a pro. Last summer, he moved in to Adam Mair’s Buffalo home and worked out with the longtime Hamilton NHLer. It gave the kid a chance to see how things work in the big time. He’s not sure if he’ll be doing it again this year, but he’ll probably spend most of the next few months in Buffalo just to be around the trainers and the team staff.’
