Host Sabres get rare win against Blues

Source: Buffalo News

‘Lamp-lighting starts certainly help teams get into the win column. Before Blues backup goaltender Chris Mason could get his bench warm, he was off it. The Sabres struck for three goals in the opening 5:18, forcing St. Louis to burn through its timeout and its starting goalie, Manny Legace. He stopped just four of the first seven shots before being yanked.’
