Miller, Sabres shutout Oveckin-less Caps 5-0

Source: LetsGoSabres.com

‘With the Buffalo Sabres coming off back-to-back horrendous performances at home, the team needed a good performance in front of HSBC Arena at least once during this three-game homestand. That is exactly what they gave their fans tonight. The Sabres put on a show for the home crowd, scoring three goals in the opening period and using Ryan Miller’s top-notch goaltending to carry them to victory. Instead of boos at the end of the game, the fans stood for a standing ovation. The Sabres played their game tonight. They made it fun to watch.’
