Briere played do-or-die Game 5 on same day with Sabres in '07

Source: Cherry Hill Courier Post

‘"You know what? I think the mood is completely different," Briere said before the Flyers boarded a plane for Pittsburgh for today’s crucial Game 5 against the Penguins. "Last year, it felt like we just kind of squeaked by (in Game 4) and we kind of got lucky. We had lost (Dainius) Zubrus and we had a couple more guys (who) got injured really bad. They didn’t even know if they were going to play. Last year, the mood was going the other way, where this year we’ve played extremely well for two and a half periods (in Game 4). You know, we let them back in late in the game. But for two and a half periods, we played a solid game."’
