‘Teppo Numminen was seen at the arena carrying his equipment. This was the first time Numminen has been seen at the arena since undergoing ankle surgery. Head Coach Lindy Ruff said that Numminen was just being checked out by the team and would not speculate on whether or not Numminen was ready for a return. "Right now we’re just evaluating where he’s at. It was nice to see him around. I haven’t seen him at the rink for quite some time but he had the procedure on his ankle and that looks a lot better."’
