But it wouldn’t be surprising if Ruff kept riding Miller, something he’s done nearly the entire season with Thibault playing shaky.’

‘Regier said that he and Campbell’s agent have had conversations since Campbell’s declaration, and that the two will speak next week. The Sabres’ GM cautioned that the talks have not progressed to the point where an offer was discussed.’

'Connolly will need surgery to repair a bone spur and a torn labrum in his hip. The recovery time is about 10 weeks, and there are only eight weeks left in the regular season. He’d be back early in the playoffs, provided the Sabres make them and the recovery goes smoothly.'
'"I'm nowhere near 100 percent. My one leg is a lot weaker than the other, and therefor, I have a lot of muscles compensating. It's just something where I've got to push it right to the limit and then bring it back."'
