The Sabres have shared the Americans with the Florida Panthers the past three seasons. They brought the Panthers to Rochester after the lockout when they were short on players to stock the team. It was supposed to be a one-year deal. But Quinn claims the Americans use the dual affiliation as cost-saving measure.'
