Sabres climb on Forbes valuation list

‘According to Forbes, the Sabres generated $70 million in revenues last season and posted operating income of $4.6 million, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. The average operating profit of an NHL club was placed at $4.2 million. Last season, the Sabres had player costs of $34 million, adding in benefits and bonuses. This season, payroll has climbed beyond $40 million.’
