Buffalo 4, NY Rangers 3 (OT)

Source: The Sports Network

‘Buffalo then evened the score at 3-3 at the 8:13 mark of the final period on a bad goal given up by Weekes. From near the blue line, Briere threw the puck on net that Weekes had trouble with. Pominville crashed the goal and was there to stuff in the rebound. Then, as the contest appeared to be heading for a shootout, Drew Stafford found Briere in the slot and he used Rangers defenseman Aaron Ward as a screen to beat Weekes top-shelf to seal the victory for Buffalo.’
