Sabres feeling greedy

Source: Buffalo News

‘In truth, Buffalo knew it was outplayed for most of Game One. It was outshot in each of the three regulation periods before Drury won it with the only shot in OT. It was outmanned in many ways, too. But the Sabres weren’t outscored, and for that they made no apologies Saturday. “At this time of the year, the only thing that matters is to win,” defenseman Toni Lydman said. “We were happy to get that first one. Now, we got a chance to try to take the second one.”‘
