'With that kind of commitment to extracurricular activities, Katzman said it's crucial to have the co-operation of the players and management. "They (hockey department) know it's part of the business side of hockey and have always been very receptive to it," Katzman said. As far as the players go, Katzman said he's been very happy with their response as well. "This year when we started calling guys and asked them to participate, it was incredible, it was overwhelming," Katzman said. "They were telling us that they were willing to go to multiple events. We've had to tell players we don't need you for this or that. "Not only do they like to do it, they see it as a responsibility they are quite willing to bear."'
