'Defenseman Rory Fitzpatrick, who spent most of last season in the minors, signed Tuesday with the Buffalo Sabres. Fitzpatrick had two assists in 22 games with the IHL's Milwaukee Admirals before being traded at midseason to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
