Sabres Pick Logan Nelson In 5th Round

‘The Rogers, MN product is the second American born player taken by the team on the second day of the draft. In 71 games with the Royals, Nelson racked up 62 points (23G, 39A) from the center position. He also added 4A in as many games in the WHL playoffs. Nelson also played in Des Moines in the 2011-12 season, where he skated in 41 games.’

Sabres pick G Linus Ullmark in 6th Round

‘Ullmark played in the Swedish Junior league. He played 25 games for MODO JR. and had a 2.76 GAA and .918 save percentage.’

Sabres pick D Brady Austin in 7th Round

‘Austin is 6-foot-4, 220-pounds. He last played for the Belleville Bulls. He scored 26 points in 68 games and had 59 penalty minutes.’

Sabres pick C Judd Peterson in 7th round

‘Peterson was a finalist for “Mr. Hockey” in Minnesota this year scoring 83 points in 30 games. Peterson is 6-foot, 195-pounds. He has committed to St. Cloud State.’
