Stronger roots could flourish in Flower City

'Buffalo fans understand the psychic value of the Sabres and Bills, the connection they provide to the larger world. Rochester fans see themselves as an extension of that community, a logical and increasingly vital part of the Buffalo sports scene. Without them, our hold on the two major franchises would be more tenuous.
