'The owner of the Arena Football League's Buffalo Destroyers met with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman on Thursday to formally submit a bid to buy the financially troubled Buffalo Sabres. Mark Hamister's meeting with Bettman could stretch into Friday possibly, said spokesman Earl Wells.'
